David Richard Gallery is pleased to present Pow, Wow, Now, a painting created in 1980 by Leo Valledor (1936-1989) that is hung in the gallery’s entry facing the large 16-foot-tall front window on the street as everyone passes and enters the gallery. This prominent location will be separately curated to showcase large artworks by the gallery’s artists. Selections will be made keeping in mind the other separate and concurrent exhibitions in the gallery as there may be an historic, aesthetic, theoretical or personal connection with the other presentations in the gallery. Such is the case with the debut of this new presentation space and Valledor’s painting.
