Through the Simply Santa Fe brand, Simply Social Media held an Instagram photo competition for David Richard Gallery during the #‎GoForBaroque Fashion Show as part of the "New Baroque - Imperfect Pearl" exhibition.

Participants were given access to photograph all aspects of the event in order to create a series of images. Photographers submitted to Simply Social Media a series of 4-10 images that documented their “story” of the Fashion Show event. Five finalists were chosen by a panel of judges from David Richard Gallery (Simply Social Media removed themselves from the process entirely) and their work will be printed and hung in the #‎DRProjects space for a one-night pop-up exhibition on Saturday, May 7th from 5:00-7:00pm.

During the exhibition, through a popular ballot voting process, one winner will be chosen to receive a Baroque-inspired David Award created by Santa Fe artist Dylan Pommer. The winning photographer will also be featured on the Instagram accounts of Simply Santa Fe and David Richard Gallery as well as in a DRG Blog post.
