By late January 2021 I was finally given clearance to access my studio in Pojoaque. This was the first painting in production. I wake my daughter Fia up so she can get ready for home school just as the sun is coming up every morning. I always take a moment to look out her window to the east, this painting is about that experience. I begin to realize that the quarantine is influencing the areas I am painting. These locations are near home or my workplace.
